But, south and west door combination and south and east door combination should be avoided.
In the case of triple entrance doors, triple entrance excluding east or north is inauspicious. Triple doors excluding south or west are auspicious. If the house is aligned to the magnetic orientation doors in all the 4 sides are auspicious. The height of the inner doors should be not lesser than seven feet and should possess a minimum width of three feet and six inches.
The total number of doors in a residence should not be ten or in multiples of eight. The main door might have gods of wealth carved on it. Birds like parrot, peacock and swans may also be used on doors. Nature paintings might be good, while pictures or sculptures of war are not allowed.
In case of windows, they are acknowledged as the source of fresh air and light. All windows should open towards the exterior and never towards the interior of the house. Bigger windows should be placed in the north east, while smaller ones should be placed in the south west. The total number of windows should be even.
