Ingredients for Toor Dal Poli or Pooran Poli | Holige
maida 1 cup, salt to taste, ghee or oil as required, toor dhall ½ cup, sugar ½ cup, cardamon powder ½ tsp, grated coconut 1 tsp
How to Prepare Gujarati Bobbatlu | Obbattu | Pooran Poli Dish Recipe
1. To the maida add a pinch of salt, required water and make a dough
2. Grease the dough with little oil and cover it with a plastic cover and keep aside for two hours
3. Cook the dhall and drain the excess water. Add sugar, cardamon powder and grated coconut and heat on a medium flame till the water is drained completely and cool it and roll them into small balls
4. Divide the dough as small balls and press them as bowls and place the ball and close it
5. Roll the balls as small chappathis and fry on a tava by applying ghee
