Vazhaipoo | Banana flower vada | vadai recipe

Banana flower vada is a great and healthy south Indian vada recipe.Banana flower is very easy to prepare and the vada is very good for stomach and digestion.
Ingredients of Vazhaipoo | Banana flower vada | vadai recipe
Toor dhall 100 gm
Chana dhall 100 gms
Banana flower 1
Onion 1
Grated coconut ½
Red chilli 7
Turmeric powder a pinch
Salt to taste
Sombu 1 tsp
Jeera 1 tsp
Oil to deep fry
Preparation of Vazhaipoo | Banana flower vada | vadai recipe
1. Wash and soal the dhall for 2 hour
2. Wash and finely chop the banana flower and onions
3. In a grinder add soaked dhall, sombu, red chilli, jeera andsalt and grind coarsely
4. Add chopped banana flower, onion, grated coconut and turmeric powder and mix well
5. Heat oil in a kadhai and deep fry as normal vadas Chops
