Fish pickle is one of the best non veg pickle recipes that i have come across.Fish pickle is very edasy to prepare and the cokking is spicy,delicious and tasty.

Ingredients kerala style fish pickle recipe

Fish 500 gms
Turmeric powder ½ tsp
Black pepper powder 1 tsp
Salt as required
Chilli powder 2 tsp
Chopped ginger 1 tsp
Chopped garlic 1 tsp
Green chilli 4
Fenugreek 1 tsp
Vinegar 3 tsp
Oil as required

Preparation of kerala style fish pickle recipe

1. Clean, wash and drain the water from the fish and marinate them with turmeric, pepper and salt and keep them aside for a hour

2. Heat oil in a pan and fry the pieces till it becomes brown and then drain them from oil and keep them aside

3. Slit the chillies and saute the ginger, garlic and chilli in oil and remove and add to the fish pieces

4. Add the chilli powder and fenugreek powder, and stir on a low flame and then add the salt and vinegar and allow it to cool and then add to the fried fish and transfer the contents to a airtight container and store and serve
