Beef Stroganoff Recipe | Beef Steak with Red Wine
Beef Stroganoff is one of the best and probably the most famous Stroganoff recipe. Here we have a red wine with button mushromm Beef Stroganoff which should be simply delicious.
Ingredients for Beef Wine Stroganoff
1. Top side stead of Beef 500gm cut into 2.5 cm strips
2. Onion 1 finely chopped
3. Button mushrooms
4. Oil 2 tsp
5. Liced 125 gm
6. Red wine ½ cup
7. Water ¼ cup
8. Tomato paste 1 tsp
9. Salt 1 tsp
10. Freshly ground black pepper
11. Cornflour 1 tsp
12. Water 2 tsp
13. Sour cream ½ cup
How to Prepare Beef Button Mushroom Stroganoff
(1)Heat oil and fry onion for one minute.
(2)Add steak and continue to fry until meat changes colour.
(3)Add mushrooms, wine water, tomato paste, salt and pepper. Bring mixture to boil, cover and simmer for 30 mins or until meat is tender.
(4)Bland cornflour with water, stir into beef mixture and bring to the boil while stirring. Adjust seasoning if necessary stir in sour cream.
(5)Use tsps of mixture as a filling for each toasted sandwich. Serve with a glass of favourite red wine
