Cabbage pulao(rice dish) is an Indian pulao variety.Cabbage pulao is easily prepared and isĀ absolutely delicious.Cabbage pulao is prepared from basmati rice with spices and vegetables added to it.
Cabbage has great health benefits including fighting against stomach ulcers , stomach ulcers , excess weight, skin disorders , headache and constipation .
Ingredients for preparing Cabbage Pulao recipe
Basmati rice 2 cup
Chopped cabbage 1 cup
Onion 2
Tomato 3
Green chilli 3
Coconut milk 1 cup
To be grinded;
Ginger small piece
Garlic 5 pieces
Grated coconut 2 tsp
For thalikka:
Cinnamon 2
Cloves 2
Cardamon 2
Ghee 2 tsp
Oil 2 tsp
How to prepare Cabbage Pulao
1. Wash and soak the rice
2. Grind the paste and slit the chillies
3. Heat oil and ghee add chopped onion and chilli and saute
4. Add the grinded paste and saute well
5. Add tomato, chopped cabbage and salt and saute well
6. At last add the coconut milk, two and a cup of water and mix well by adding rice and close the lid and cook till one whistle
