Basmati rice 2 cup
Onion 2
Tomato 3
Curd ¼ cup
Coconut milk ½ cup
Peas ¼ cup
Salt to taste
Bay leaf 2
Ghee 2 tsp
Oil 2 tsp

To be grinded;

Green chilli 5
Coriander 1 tsp
Ginger small piece
Garlic 6-8 pieces
Gasa gasa 1 tsp
Cashews 6
Cinnamon 1
Cardamon 1
Cloves 1
Pudhina 1 bunch
Coriander ½ bunch




1. Wash and soak the rice in water and coconut milk
2. Chop the onions and tomatoes
3. Heat oil and ghee in a cooker add bay leaf and chopped onion and saute
4. Add the grinded paste and saute well till the raw smell goes off
5. Add the chopped tomatoes, salt and coconut milk and soaked rice and water and close the lid and cook till one whistle
