How to prepare south Indian jeera rice | jeera pulao recipe | cook | ingredients



It is one of the simplest flavorful rice recipes which can be made in 15 minutes, it takes less time and can be done without much effort.

This is one of the light dish which easy to digest.

basmati rice 2 cup

cashews 10

green chilli 2

salt to taste

jeera 1 tsp

cinnamon 1

ghee 4 tsp


Preparation of south indian jeera rice | jeera pulao recipe


1. Wash, soak and cook the basmati rice by adding salt as non sticky

2. Slit the chillies

3. In a thick pan melt ghee and add jeera, cinnamon, cashews, green chilli and saute

4. Add the cooked rice to this sauted mixture and mix well. If needed add little salt to taste
