Ingredients for North Indian Onion sabji


1. Chana dhall ½ cup
2. Onion 2
3. Tomato 3
4. Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
5. Chilli powder 11/2 tsp
6. Tamarind juice 2 tsp
7. Salt to taste
8. Jeera ½ tsp
9. Oil 2 tsp


How to Prepare Onion Dal Sabji ( Curry ) Recipe


1. Cook the chana dhall and drain the excess water. Finely chop the onions and tomatoes
2. Heat oil and saute with jeera and add chopped onions, ginger garlic paste and saute till golden brown
3. Add chopped tomatoes, chilli powder, salt and saute till they are finely smashed
4. Add the cooked dhall, tamarind juice and mix well and saaute till the water is completely drained
