Kaanda poha great traditional north Indain recipe.This combines poha,vegetables and spices to an extremly delicious and tasty preperation.


Ingredients of kaanda poha recipe | dishes

 thick poha 2 cups     
 onions 3 medium sized     
 green chillies 3-4     
 fresh coriander leaves a few springs     
 curry leaves 8-10     
 oil 2 tsp     
 turmeric powder 1 tsp     
 salt to taste     
 lemon juice 1 tsp     

 preparation of kaanda poha recipe | dishes

 1. Wash poha and keep it in a strainer so that excess of water will be drained out   

 2. Peel , wash and finely chop onions. Remove stems wash and cut coriander and curry leaves finely and  green chillies.     

 3. Heat oil in a pan. Add onions and stir fry on medium heat till golden brown, now add green chillies, curry leaves and continue to cook for two to three minutes     

 4. Add turmeric powder, poha and salt. Mix well and cook by covering on low flame for five minutes

 5. Remove from heat and add lemon juice and garnish it with coriander leaves and serve hot
