Ingredients  of Pudalangai | Snakegourd ( Chutney )thogayal Recipe  

  Snake guard 1     
 Toor dhall 100 gms     
 Pepper seeds 10     
 Salt to taste     
 Urad dhall 50 gms     
 Red chilli 4     
 Asafoetida a pinch     

 Preparation of Pudalangai | Snakegourd ( Chutney )thogayal Recipe

 
 1.   Saute the chopped snake guard in oil for two to three  minutes     
 2.   Saute the other ingredients in oil till golden brown     
 3.   Mix with the above ingredients and grind it in the mixer     
 4.   To 1 tsp of oil add mustard, urad dhall,jeera and allow it to crackle and add to the grinded paste and mix well     
 5.   If it is little wattery again add to the kadhai and stir till the water drains out completely
