1. Fresh methi leaves 2 mediumbunch
2. onion 1 medium sized
3. Oil 1tsp and to deep fry
4. Besan flour ½ cup
5. Red chilli powder 1 tsp
6. Salt to taste
7. Turmeric ½ tsp
8. Sugar 1 tsp
9. Carom seeds ¼ tsp
10. soda bi carbonate a pinch

1. Clean, wash and chop methi leaves. Peel, wash and finely chop onion
2. Heat 1 tsp of oil in a kadhai. Add methi and onion and saute for two minutes. Add besan and other ingredients
3. Add a little water to make a batter of dropping consistency
4. Heat sufficient oil in a kadhai and add a teaspoon of the batter and deep fry i n hot oil till crisp and golden brown
