This is a very delicious dish.Its one of the famous dishes in south india.It can be prepared with cheaper and readily available ingredients.

Brinjal 3
Onion 1
Green chilli 4
Mustard ½ tsp
Urad dhall 2 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil 1 tsp
Coriander, curry leaves few
Curd 2 cup

Preparation of brinjal pachidi recipe | thayir kulambu | more

1. Choose clean brinjals without any germs. Heat the brinjal on all sides on a low flame and cool it
2. Peel the skin and smash the flesh
3. Heat oil add mustard, urad dhall and saute
4. Add chopped onion and chilli and saute
5. Add the smashed brinjal and salt and saute on a low flame till it is finely cooked and cool it
6. When cooled add the curd and garnish with coriander and serve
