Appalam pachidi is another kind of Indianpachidi variety.This is a favorite dish for oldies and also children.Its tasty and different side dish for rice.
Ingredients
Crushed appalams 5
Mustard ½ tsp
Green chilli 2
Asafoetida little
Salt to taste
Curd 11/2 cup
Coriander, curry leaves few
Oil ¼ cup
Preparation
1. Heat oil in a pan and fry the crushed appalams and keep aside
2. Heat a tsp of oil in another pan and saute chillies and grind to a paste with salt
3. To the oil add mustard, asafoetida, curry leaves and saute and add to the curd
4. Add the grinded chilli paste also to the curd and mix well
5. Add the fried appalams also to the curd before serving and sprinkle coriander leaves and serve
