Ingredients for preparing Christmas cake

1. Brandy 120 ml

2. Cooking butter 400 gm

3. Caramel colour 50 gm

4. Mixed dry fruits 500 gms

5. Eggs 7

6. Flour 400 gms

7. Rum 120 ml


For marzipan


1. Sugar 250 gms

2. Almonds 200 gms

3. Almond essence 1 drop

4. Milk 100 gms

5. Sugar 200 gms


For royal icing

1. Egg whites 2

2. Icing sugar 200 gms

3. Vanilla essence ½ tsp

4. Stiff white eggs 200 gms

How to prepare Christmas cake

 

1. Take a bowl and add all the ingredients for the cake in it and blend it well

2. Grease the mould with butter and transfer the cake mixture to it

3. Bake it in a oven at 190 degree for 45 mins. Demould and cool it for 45 mins

4. Make a paste of almond and add egg whites, milk, sugar, essence, colour and make leaves and flowers

5. Prepare royal ciing by mixing all ingredients and spread it over the cake and serve
