Description of Aval dosai Recipe

Aval Dosa is a fermented crepe or pancake made from rice and aval and Urad dhall batter . Aval Dosa is one of the most prefered in southern Indian states , Kerala, and Tamil Nadu.

 

 

Ingredients of Aval Dosai


1. Rice 2 cup

2. Aval ¾ cup
3. Urad dhall 2 tsp
4. Salt to taste

 

Preparation of aval dosai


1.soak rice, aval and urad dhall for three hours
2. Drain the water and grind adding salt
3. Keep the batter aside for five hours
4. If needed dilute the dosa to required consistency and apply as dosas on a tava
