Masala dosa has been the favorite dosa since the time i came to be hooked onto this south Indian recipe . Masala dosa has tasty and spicy masala being put into the center onto the center of the center of the prepared plain dosa . The combination is simply mouth watering and delicious .

 

The dish is filling and an excellent recipe if you are going for an outing . Masala dosa is best when consumed along with Chutney ands sambar . The dish that is given below is that of an north Indian style masala.


Ingredients for masala dosa recipe


Raw rice 11/2 cup
Urad dhall ΒΌ cup
Fenu greek seeds 2 tsp
Salt as required

For masala (masala dosa recipes)


Onions 2
Tomato 1
Red chilli 3
garlic 4 pieces
Tamarind a small piece
Salt to taste

 

Preparation of masala dosa recipe


Wash and soak the ingredients togetherly for 3 hours


Grind it in the grinder by adding required amount of salt


Allow it to ferment for 8-10 hours


If needed add some water to the batter and mix it to the required consistency


For masala grind all the ingredients in the masala by adding required quantity of salt


Heat tava and allpy dosa, grease the grinded mixture on the dosa and apply oil


Do not turn the dosa to the other side


Cook it on a low flame and fold it  and serve it hot
