Andhra Vellarikkai Kulambu Recipe


Andhra Vellarikkai Kulambu is a traditional Andhra recipe.This is rich with cucumber,amla,tamarind to give a perfect side dish for your lunch.,

 


Ingredients of  Vellarikkai Kulambu

 

1. Cucumber 1
2. Tamarind small
3. Amla size
4. Salt to taste
5. Grated coconut ½ cup
6. Redchilli 6
7. Mustard ½ tsp
8. Onion 1
9. Oil 2 tsp

    
How to Prepare Andhra Vellarikkai Curry


 1. Peel, deseed and chop the cucumbers to big pieces
 2. Paste the red chilli and grated coconut
 3. Squeeze the tamarind with half cup of water
 4. Boil two cups of water add salt and the cucumber pieces, add the tamarind water and the grinded paste and boil till the raw smell goes off
 5. Heat oil in a kadhai add chopped onions, mustard, and add to the gravy and boil it well
