Chana Dal Cucumber Curry
Chana Dal Cucumber is a special Andhra gojju recipe that can be prepared very easily. This is spicy hot and nutritious, certainly one of the recipes that packs nutrition and taste together in one pack.
Ingredients for Chana Dal Cucumber Gojju
1. Chana dhall 1 cup
2. Cucumber 1
3. Salt to taste
4. Oil 1-2 tsp
5. Jeera 1 tsp
6. Chopped coriander 1 tsp
7. Chilli ginger paste 1 tsp
8. Turmeric powder ¼ tsp
How to Prepare Lentils Cucumber Curry
1. Wash, soak and cook the dhall with required water till soft
2. In a pan heat oil add jeera and when it splutters add the ginger chilli paste and sauté for a min
3. To this add the cooked dhall, salt, turmeric powder and mix well
4. Peel and chop the cucumber to pieces by deseeding them and then add to the dhall in the pan and add little water for the pieces to get cooked and when the gravy turns thick remove from flame and garnish with chopped coriander and serve
