Description

Kushboo idly is a traditional tamil nadu Breakfast item .  Kushboo idly are known to be very soft and spongy . If you are looking for a soft idly then this is one of the best recipes .

Ingredients of Kushboo idly

Boiled rice 5 cups
Fenugreek seeds 4 tsp
Castor oil seeds 1tsp
Salt to taste

Preparation of Kushboo idly


1. Soak fenugreek seeds and castor oil seeds for 4 hours
2. Wash and soak the rice for two hours
3. Grind fenugreek seeds and castoroil seeds seperately to this now add the rice and grind it coarsely by adding salt
4. Allow it to ferment for 8-10 hours
5. Grease oil to the idli plates and pour the batter and steam it for 10-15 minutes
6. Hot and big kushbhoo idlis are ready to eat

Hi , i have a doubt in this recipe , dont we need to use urad dal ? If so wat quantity ?
