Natural Home Remedies for Head Lice
Head Lice refers to paretic insects that infest the hair and suck blood from the scalp. Head Lice is tiny in size same black color as hair making it very difficult and time-consuming to segregating from the hair manually. Homemade Natural Shampoo is much more effective in treating Lice than commercially available shampoos.
Homemade Natural Shampoo Remedies for Head Lice
1. A big problem among the school going kids is lice, now a days many lice oils are in use but natural ways are always long-lasting. Make a paste of neem leaves and apply to the liced head well by massaging well till it spreads to all parts of the head and then cover the head with a plain clean old cloth and allow it to soak in the neem paste for about 2-3 hours and then take hair bath and comb the hair thoroughly such
that almost half of the lice will vanish because of the bitterness of the neem. If this treatment is done on weekly procedure to some extent lice growth will be arrested.
2. Repeat this procedure once in every 9 days. Since the lice hatch in every 9 days it is useful to practice this every 9 days to cut the lice that survived before .
3. Use olive oil or coconut oil to massage the scalp everyday. This makes the lice the lice to come out of hiding. This is washed out using plain water after through massage.
4. Use Egg yolk to wash off lice. Although egg scalp carries great medicinal benefits make sure to wash off using plenty of water since it may carry an unpleasant smell.
