Since the living room is the first place where energy flows into the house, the feng shui of the entrance should be enhanced in an apt way. It should be in such a way that positive energy flows throughout the house and is available for all the inmates of the residence.
This room should be in a perfect harmony. The paintings and wall papers, the entrance door, mirrors should be concentrated when decorating the house in the feng shui way. Mirrors that are badly placed could create negative energy, so care should be taken to see that it reflects pleasant and positive things. The corners of the room should be lighted with lamps to eradicate stale moods. The living room should not be cluttered with too much furniture. The electromagnetic waves of the television could interrupt with the flow of chi or energy. Soft cushions should be placed to make the room more feminine while dry flowers should be avoided. The layout of the room should be relaxing. Implementation of directions in decorating the hall is very important. Most important of all is that the entrance should not have any sort of clutter and mirrors in front of the entrance could reflect positive energy outside.
